Beats 'n Breaks is not only a radio show, but is a group of people that also hosts freeparties. They started their show on a Wednesday somewhere in 2008, and are still doing so today. The music Beats 'n Breaks plays is similar on both the radio show and the freeparties, and ranges from Drum&bass to Tekno, but also from Breakcore to Hiphop to Punk.
You can find the Beats 'n Breaks crew often around Groningen, but they've also played in the rest of the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Italy (Milan), Spain etc. Where the DJs are usually restricted to a certain music style on a party, the radio shows offers them all freedom to go from popular music to the most underground music you've heard.
This show hosts the following genres of music: Drum and Bass, Jungle, IDM, Breakcore, Dubstep, Frenchcore, Tekno, Acid House, Breakbeat, Electro, Hardcore, Techno, Tribal,

Lady Jack-a-Line was born in the northern part of the Netherlands. At her 21st she decided to get behind the decks herself after some years as party visitor. Since then she likes it so much she can express herself by playing the records. In 2005 it really began for her, in that year, she experienced her first gig. She was sold immediately to the feeling reflecting from the public, by playing records that she love and where the public can go on loose . She has played at several techno festivals across the country, next to many well-known names in the scene like: Miss Djax, 2 Junxion, Invite, Rick Angel, Peaky Pounder, Rude Awakening, Kriek, Mack, Hilarious, Mike Drama , Dave Miller, Damian Keane, Frank Kvitta ...
Underground and hard is what set PhranXx apart. With music ranging from Tekno to Jungle, to Breakcore, he always makes the crowd rock.
Porno, Wodka and music... This guy plays whatever he likes. From Goa to hardcore, from hiphop to schlager... Be warned!

From an early age on Hedde started making music. First hitting cans and pans, progressing to real musical instruments and finally discovering a computer he evolved his musical styles as well as skills. His style can be described vague experimental with touches of drum&bass and hardcore gabber, hard and aggressive music has always been of major influence and continues to be so in his work. Together with WSicko he started the Breakcore.NL Portal and since 2009 he is part of Crappymeal, a live act performing drum&bass. Still producing and DJ'ing, he has already played at some major events and released tracks on several CDs and online compilations. At present he is using different aliases to segregate his styles, from hiphop and dubstep to the extremest hardcore and breakcore. Tauchyon is his alias for Drum&bass, dubstep, breaks and the like
Tex-nd is the alias of Hedde (Tauchyon) for the darkest of hardcore gabber and breakcore.
Henry Boer aka The Futurist was born in Brazil and raised in The Netherlands. In 1998 he got infected with the techno virus by big names like The Advent, Cari Lekebusch and Adam Beyer. This addiction to techno made him also buy records and spinning records on the decks. He got his first bookings in the year 2000 and it immediately was very clear he has the skills to make people going crazy on the dance floor with freaky deep and pounding techno beats. 2004 and 2005 were stunning years for him with many performances on techno parties in the northern part of The Netherlands. Since that breakthrough, the way to even more success is completely opened and The Futurist has already played with heroes like Jay Denham, Steve Rachmad, Billy Nasty and Lars Klein, to name a few. The Futurist is also very busy with producing own techno tracks since 1997. In 2003 he reached the second place of the yearly national producer contest (region final). With software programs as Ableton, Cubase and Reason he knows how to get the most amazing offbeat, hardtechno and industrial techno sounds out of his speaker system. The tracks he produces are heavily inspired by artists like The Advent, Grovskopa, Christian Wunsch, Sebastian Kramer and Tomash Gee. They’re containing dark and frightening ambient soundscapes, pounding beats and razor sharp hihats.
